St. Brigid’s 2015 Boys (U10) participated in a 9 strong club football Blitz in Glasnevin last Saturday 3rd May.
We had 3 teams playing 4 spirited games each in the summer sun. 32 Brigid’s Boys did the parish proud as they fiercely competed against both local and new opposition, including St. Oliver Plunkett ER, Wanderers, Naas, Gaeil Colmcille (Kells) and of course our hosts Na Fianna.
The lads, parents and coaches had a memorable day out and we wish to sincerely thank Na Fianna for running such a well organised event – such occasions show the GAA community, with its volunteer ethos at its core, at its best. Unfortunately, the lads are done with GoGames and want a Blitz now every week!
