Following their GoGames fixtures last Saturday morning, it was Newbridge or Nowhere for our 2016 Boys as they hit the road to Newbridge Sarsfields for the U9 Dermot Earley Academy All-Ireland Football Blitz.

St. Brigid’s had three teams represented on the day where they joined 20 clubs from near and far with over 500 kids taking part!

Brigid’s faced hosts Newbridge Sarsfields, Naomh Bríd (Antrim), St. Peter’s Dunboyne, Maynooth, O’Hanrahans (Carlow), Moorefield, Rhode & Nemo Rangers in their respective games across the three teams.

Our lads represented Brigid’s with pride taking on a new challenge outside their comfort zone of GoGames and all rose up to the challenge - a credit to their families and mentors.

Thank you to Newbridge Sarsfields for inviting us back again this year and for hosting a wonderful day and a brilliant occasion that will live on in the memory of the lads for years to come.
