The GAA Injury Benefit Fund exists to support registered members who sustain accidental bodily injuries while taking part in Gaelic Games activities.
It’s important to note that this is not an insurance policy, but rather a fund designed to assist players.

If you already have private health insurance or personal accident cover, you must claim through that first, and the GAA Fund can then step in to cover any shortfall
(within the Fund’s limits). For those without personal cover, the Fund provides a vital safety net.

Claims must be submitted via Foireann within 60 days of the injury date. If you don’t yet have an active Foireann account, contact your club registrar to get set up.
