With the completion and handover of our newly resurfaced All Weather pitch, St. Brigid’s wish to inform players, mentors, volunteers and supporters about the guidelines for using the surface and associated amenities to ensure maximum life span of our facilities.

✅ Only moulded studs are permitted on our All weather pitch ✅

❌ Metal studs, metal blades, astro turf footwear, indoor court trainers, flat soled shoes, work boots, high heels, bare feet/socks are not permitted on the playing surface ❌

❌ Children’s buggies, scooters and bicycles are also not permitted on the playing surface ❌

St. Brigid’s have invested in new portable goals with wheels for our new All Weather surface. These goals are to be stored in dedicated goalpost area after completion and not left on the sideline of the pitch.

These new posts are exclusively for use on the all weather pitch only.

Thank you to Peter Ryan, Aileen, Nathan & Alan Mahon, Gay, Seb & Siobhan Kelly and Jamesy who gave up last Saturday to assemble the new posts and nets, ready for the pitch opening!

St. Brigid’s thanks our members for their cooperation in assisting with these guidelines and reinforcing the importance of the correct footwear and ensuring that’s its use is for members only.

This will help ensure our facilities stay top class over the coming years.
