What an unforgettable experience at Kilmainham Gaol ☘️
Irish history came to life in abundance during our visit—so powerful, so tragic, yet so inspiring. The Civil War, in particular, left a lasting impression as one of the most heartbreaking chapters in our nation’s story.
But beyond the history, what a fantastic day we shared together. As planned, we made a little history of our own—joining Gerry Jenkins and the Men’s Shed Choir to sing Grace at the very altar where Grace Gifford and Joseph Plunkett were married in those dark, defining days. The moment was made even more special by the presence of Liam Plunkett—sharing the Plunkett name added a poetic touch that didn’t go unnoticed. There’s 2 things that brings people together History and music and on the visit we had them both .

More to come from this memorable day out together. Stay tuned!
