Tomorrow in Russell Park! Herbie Hughes Memorial Tournament

The Herbie Hughes Committee are getting the final touches ready to welcome all the teams from the island of Ireland and the UK to Russell Park for our fun filled family event tomorrow.

With games from 11am and lots for all the family with inflatable games, face painting and ice cream van it’s sure to be a great day out!

Herbie Hughes Tournament - Saturday 31st May from 11am


The launch of St. Brigid’s GAA Inaugural Herbie Hughes Memorial Tournament took place in Russell Park last Thursday 10th April which will see 16 competing teams play for the Herbie Hughes Cup & The Tom Quinn Shield.

Russell Park will play host a festival of football for these teams who will travel from Belfast, Tyrone and the UK as well as Meath & Dublin and will be played in a seven a side format for over 40’s.

The tournament will take place on Saturday May 31st with games starting at 11:00am.
