St. Brigid’s U13 Ladies had 3 LGFA football matches in Russell Park over the weekend. The girls put in fantastic performances across all three matches in sizzling temperature conditions.
The girls got together with their opposition for some cooling down ice-lollies after the matches. Brillant camadarie and friendships on display from all teams.
Last Friday saw U13A St. Brigid’s host Castleknock in a closely contested division 1 match. Fantastic skills and team play on display but unfortunately were unable to contain some wonderful attacking runs from Castleknock.

Saturday saw U13B St. Brigid’s take on St Sylvesters in a division 6 match. Brigid’s led all the way - with some fantastic teamwork, defending and scoring on display. Great scores and great win for these players.

Sunday saw St. Brigid’s U13C team played Lucan Sarsfields C team in a challenge match. Lucan took the lead in the first half and despite the excellent teamwork and skills on display, the girls were unfortunate to not convert more scores in the second half and secure the win.
