Our U14 LGFA group were in action in Rush yesterday as they competed for the Christine Bollard Annual Perpetual Cup on a great day out in North County Dublin.

The tournament is run in memory of Christine Bollard who died tragically in a road accident on 17th October 1992 one week before her third birthday.

For the weekend that was in it, the road trip away to Maurs for an early throw in did seem like it was half the world away and despite a slow start little by little we started to come into it with some supersonic points and goals.

Despite losing the first match they just rolled with it and all played like they were Rock n Roll Stars.
Jessica & Siun orchestrating midfield like it was a masterplan in action and with Amber, Olivia, Beau & Sophia we had our very own wonderwall of defence.

Our forwards Anna Emily & Amelia whatever they kicked they scored.
Some might say not reaching the final was a disappointment but the memories of today will…..Live Forever

It was a super morning in the Oasis of sunshinnnneee in north Dublin.
Thank you to St Maurs for their hospitality and for running a great tournament, keeping the memory of Christine alive in their club and community.
