There has been excellent progress from our Minor Boys in both codes in recent weeks, with the group continuing to deliver strong and competitive performances.

What may not be widely recognised is the level of challenge this squad is currently managing. With a number of players unavailable due to county commitments and injuries, the panel has been significantly stretched. Despite this, the players have shown real resilience, work rate, and determination—consistently holding their own and competing at a high level.

A key positive has also been the integration of our U16 players, who are stepping up and making valuable contributions. This exposure is providing important development opportunities while strengthening the overall squad.

The attitude across the group has been consistent—disciplined, committed, and team-focused—which is a strong indicator of the pathway being built within the club.

There is clear momentum building, and the depth coming through is a positive sign for the seasons ahead. The future is very bright for St Brigid’s.
